Ever since I’ve been eligble to vote, I have. I voted in the last two presidential elections and both times the candidate I voted for lost. I really hope this time is different. I hope this time America will choose the right person. I hope this time my vote goes to the winning candidate and I hope that the third times a charm.

This just proves that Kanye is quite literally in a league all his own. It’s not often you get an artist so popular they warrant 7 videos from one album but apparently Kanye is one of those people. This video was finally released in its entirety on Youtube so people are citing it as his latest video but I’m not sure if it’s actually being played on MTV or BET. I have no way of knowing anyway not having cable TV.(It was either cable or high speed internet and I went with the latter, but I digress.) I originally saw this in a commercial for the Graduation album before its release and just took it as just a promo piece. At this point they might as well make videos for the other 7 tracks on Grad and release it on Blu-Ray. I’d happily buy that.
Seeing Takashi Murakami’s art in animated form makes me smile.
Must…resist…temptation. Must…not buy. Funds..quickly depleting. Can’t..buy another shirt with hot Japanese idol wearing shoes I don’t own. Will look…too funny wearing shirt without the shoes…but will seem like I’m trying too hard…if I do. Ugh, these shirts such a double edge sword. The next Kiks Tyo and Yuko Ishida tee is available and has the lovely singer/model wearing a pair of Levis x Air Jordan I Retro’s. Comes in both white and gray versions. Get your pre-order on here. Oh yeah and it’s confirmed. Yuko Ishida, NOT ugly.
I’m sure most people have seen these videos before but I feel it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t blog them and have them handy to view at any given time. Masaki Sumitami aka Razor Ramon aka Hard Gay is a Japanese Comedian and former wrestler who does these hilarious comedy sketches and appears on various Japanese variety shows. He goes around the city acting like a total over exaggerated flaming homosexual messing with people. You just have to watch his videos to fully appreciate his comedy.
Here, Hard Gay cooks for the kids again! Enjoy.
“Until You Come Back To Me” by Aretha Franklin:
“We Love You” by Lupe Fiasco Feat. Sway:
So last night I was playing pool with a friend of mine. Many games were played, challenges issued, bets won, bets lost and as a result, through all of the competitive and fierce battling I actually won myself a free Hundreds shirt. So this post is just a helpful guide to aid her in picking one out. In her defense she managed to win a Tens shirt out of me…and by “win” I mean me scratching the 8-ball on my own turn. Which I’m guessing made that victory all that more sweet for her. Oh why do the Pool Gods torture me so? Damn you Pool Gods! Damn you! *shakes fist at the air*
Any of these will do nicely.
PS: Congratulations Pang.

Quite possibly my favorite song starring “hipster” hop’s favorite son, Lupe Fiasco. I first heard this off the “It Was Written” Mixtape by Mick Boogie. It only featured the first verse and I had not known it actually featured UK rapper Sway Dasafo. Lupe’s flow and lyrics over this beat fit like a silky smooth glove…..theeen Sway comes in. I don’t know, it’s not that he’s bad on it. Sway is quite good, but his verse definitely contrasts with Lu’s and is gut-wrenchingly apparent. Fantastic sample taken from the one and only Miss…wait, whoa now that I think of it, I haven’t done a Sample Clearance entry in awhile. I think I’ll save that bit of information for a future post.
In the meantime, enjoy.
I truly feel this is the next “Paper Planes” by M.I.A.. And by “Paper Planes” I mean a song I was totally raving about when the album originally came out but no one cared, then after being on TV like say for a trailer for a movie, *cough* Pineapple Express *cough* or beer commercial, *cough* Budweiser *cough*, it blows the fuck up and everyone and their great uncle makes it their default song on Myspace all of a sudden. I’m so cool, I was the first one to get tired of these songs. Don’t forget, I’m driving this bandwagon goddamnit!
Whoa, whoa. I’m sorry, I don’t know what just came over me. My “elitist snob” persona reared his ugly head for a second there. Sometimes I gotta remember to keep him in check.
