You know since Michael Jackson is singing the chorus for this song, he should be the one “watching” Rockwell. Like all of the other parts besides Rockwells would be played by Mike(dude in the cemetery, the mailman etc.). Instead of this house, it could take place at Neverland Ranch. Mike could be resting Dracula style in his hyperbolic chamber. Instead of the dog, it could be like Bubbles the Chimp chasing him from room to room. Using CGI you could have the Elephant Man’s bones come to life or something. And slowly as the song goes on, Rockwell mysteriously gets younger and younger until the very end where he turns into a 10 year old boy and The King of Pop has his way with him. That’s it, I got the treatment, give me a chance and I could remake this video and turn it from scary to terrifying!

I’ve been reading the Niketalk boards for a long time and even though i’ve been long since “retired”(in quotes cause one never really retires from shoe collecting, cause well, we all gotta wear shoes right?) from the game I still feel very much apart of it. It’s been a long time since i’ve been interested in getting a new pair of Nike SB’s. None of the ones that have come out as of late have hit me with that: “Holy shit! I’m getting those even if I have to cut out and sell my vital organs on the black market.” kinda feeling. The last ones I wanted were the Wiegers and the last ones that I actually bought were the Tiffanys. These 720’s are based on the old school arcade game and they are looking very fresh. I’m feeling the color scheme. I’m still on the fence whether or not to get these or just spend the money towards a pair of Supeme Blazers. We’ll have to wait and see. Damn, it’s been awhile since i’ve lined up for sneakers.
I don’t think anyone comes close. At one point I thought Juice(who destroyed Eminem in a battle) from Chicago was the best freestyle emcee…then I heard the Wake Up Show Anniversary where he was methodically dismembered lyrically by Supernatural. I love it when Nat takes three words from the audience and proceeds to use them in a rhyme, or when he rhymes about objects in the room, or impersonates other rappers, all the way down to their voice and flow, all the while freestyling. It’s amazing how fast one persons mind can work.
The bad thing is that as unbelievable as his freestyles are, his albums seem to create no buzz or any type of fanfare. That seems to be a stigma especially with Nat and some freestlyle emcees. When it comes to freestylers and written lyrics, people just don’t care to hear it. That’s Nats claim to fame after all, that’s what he’s famous for and his main draw. Not his written down rhymes or how well he constructs a verse or a song but the lyrics he thinks of on the fly, on the spot, in the moment. I think that’s the main reason why he doesn’t sell as much as I feel he should. However, it is tough for me to argue If you ask me what i’d rather listen to: Supernat written? Or Supernat off the top? It’s gonna be off the top every time.
I’m not a huge fan of these add ons for the Nintendo DS. I like my DS to play GAMES and could care less about surfing the internet or watching television on it. Unless it somehow magically allows me to remove clothes off of Rashida Jones with my stylus while watching The Office, count me out.
I came across this song on a Madlib 45’s mix on a Stones Throw Podcast. I heard it, immediately wanted it but had no way on finding it cause I didn’t know the name of it. The podcast didn’t play the song in its entirety so I had very few words from the song to go on to possibly do a search for the lyrics. It took some time but I eventually got it. Just an amazing song. I love the break at the beginning, I want to have a loop of the first 25 seconds of this song just play over and over again.
Come 6pm this Friday i’ll be in full on geek mode. I’ll be at the Apple store picking up the latest iteration of OSX dubbed “Leopard” and not long after it will be installed on my Macbook, and not long after that, all geek detectors within a five mile radius will explode.
